I was raised by my grandparents on a farm in rural America. I attended a small private university and studied English with a minor in Ministry.
My husband and I were married a month after I graduated and I woke up the day after my honeymoon in full-time ministry.
Since then, I have been a helpmate to my husband, a maker of our home, a mother to my children and a servant to the Body of Christ.
Our life is lived in a very public venue and our home was my only respite from that. For that reason, I was unsure about making my life even more public by blogging. I believe, however, that if my lifetime of experiences could offer hope, help, inspiration, or encouragement to one person, it will be worth it.
